This building contractor tackles Projects ranging in value from £500k up to £6 million throughout London. They deliver projects within the Residential Commercial office, Education, Light Industrial and Leisure sectors.
As a result of expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Construction Contracts Manager to manage the delivery of a range of Projects.
Managing teams of Site based Project Managers you will be working out of an office in Hitchin.
As a Contracts Manager your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
Monitor each project budget, ensuring each scheme is delivered profitably
Stakeholder Management
Line management of subcontractors, trade and labour
Procurement and management of subcontract packages and specialist materials
Develop and monitor project plans
Keeping up to date with variations & valuations
Quality control
Contributing to bids, estimates & tenders
An interesting and varied role the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of Managing Construction and Fit Out projects to time and budget. The candidate will have excellent multi-level communication skills and will have experience of running more than one project at any one time

To be successful you must have/be all of the following:
Construction related qualifications
Have project management experience of running Construction and Interior Fit out projects
Be able to demonstrate experience of monitoring & delivering project budgets
Experience of recording and agreeing variations to contract
Experience of doing take offs
Subcontractor management experience
Experience with MS Project or similar
Valid CSCS Card or SMSTS
