Junior Buyer

Junior Buyer - Global Media Enterprise - Central London - £30k - £40k + excellent package

Continuing to excel as a leading enterprise within their field, this internationally-renowned organisation seeks an extremely ambitious and driven junior buyer to join their ranks.

Based out of their modern HQ in central London, the ambitious junior buyer will join an innovative organisation, allowing for accelerated career progression annually and the opportunity to cater for an array of procurement categories, including general services, market data, data translation etc. The ambitious junior buyer will gain the opportunity to join a very exciting work-life culture, having the opportunity to enhance the current business model and work very closely to the experienced head of procurement.

Junior Buyer Responsibilities:

• Accountable for developing and managing relations with a variety of internationally-renowned suppliers and vendors
• Responsible for the management of a variety of procurement categories, inclusive of general services, market data, data translation, operations etc.
• Effectively negotiate, evaluate and manage an extensive vendor and supplier list

Junior Buyer Requirements:

• Proven track record as a procurement specialist and/or buyer with evident experience negotiating with global suppliers and vendors
• Previous experience within pharmaceuticals/healthcare, operations, finance desirable but not essential
• Excellent inter-personal, communication and negotiation skills
• MCIPs and degree preferred but not essential - opportunity to be sponsored for CIPs if not
