Procurement Category Sourcing Manager job with one of the world's largest law firms based in Central London

Your new company
You will join one of the world's leading law firms based in Central London. They have a global reach across the Americas, Asia and Europe. The key areas they focus on are capital markets, corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions; Finance and banking, real estate, tax, pensions and employment; litigation and dispute resolution.

Your new role
You will be responsible for leading strategic and tactical procurement projects aiming to deliver efficiencies and cost savings.

You may at times be required to travel to other offices around the globe but majority of your time will be based in the London office.

You will lead strategic and key tactical sourcing projects from end-to-end so you will need prior experience with this. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have strong stakeholder engagement skills as you will be required to deal with a variety of stakeholders across the business.

Aspects of your role will involve delivering cost savings/process improvements through commercial renewal, optimisation and negotiation.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need prior experience with end-to-end procurement with the ability to negotiate contract terms/agreements. In addition you will need experience in building/implementing category strategy with the ability to engage/influence senior stakeholders/suppliers.

Qualified to degree level and the CIPS qualification is highly desirable.

In addition, you will need experience managing and monitoring compliance/adherence to procurement policy across the firm.
