International Luxury Transportation Manufacturer seeks a Supply Chain Progressor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency in supply activities for the aftersales logistics team. This includes managing a well organised warehouse for efficient distribution of parts, meeting your stock management KPI's and ensuring production and suppliers deliver stock within a pre-set timescale.
Duties may include:
- Deliver excellent customer service through the supply chain deliverance aspect of the aftersales department.
- Manage and help develop, implementation and control of the stock system including a warehousing plan.
- Manage the facilitation and progression of stores within the timescales set.
- Manage alongside the aftersales service executives the priorities for requisition, supply and shipping of all items.
- Manage support around multi-site production lines to procure items within PYL as well as external suppliers.
- To ensure that the department are meeting and exceeding their KPI's.
- Manage and analyse costs, providing reports as required on all activities.
- Manage the process for recording damaged or missing goods, and credit claims are processed correctly and within timescales.
- To routinely manage and audit all paperwork.
- To innovate and develop new ideas to maximise supply chain capacity and efficiency.
- To ensure all delivery schedules and department objectives are met.
- To work closely with colleagues to keep databases updated.
- Manage a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring the team comply with all Health and Safety requirements, keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.
- To ensure that Health and Safety, COSHH, and fire regulations are adhered to at all times by all staff, including the wearing of the correct PPE equipment, and operating machinery / equipment in which they have been trained.
Skills and experience:
- Assist process claims in accordance with Service Standards and escalate issues to management appropriately
- Provide a proactive Service in accordance with Service Standards and appropriate to individual circumstances.
- Undertake regular Product and Service training provide by the company and maintain personal knowledge of model line-up and NPI
- Be a best practice lead for distributors.
