The Distribution Centre Manager UK Role:

The Distribution Centre Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Distribution Centre including all activity across eCommerce, Wholesale and Retail fulfilment. Driving strategic and tactical continuous improvement plans with full budgetary responsibility for all aspects of the Distribution Centre. 

Distribution Centre Manager Key Accountabilities:

+ Culture, must display the ability to lead people with tact, diplomacy & maturity and possess the personal drive to inspire others to reach the goals as set out in the strategic and operational plans.
+ Accountable for the leadership and management of the Distribution 
+ Centre on a day-to-day basis Responsible for delivering the customer delivery proposition.
+ Responsible for budgetary control and KPI delivery Resource planning across the Distribution Centre.
+ Ensuring H&S regulations and good manual handling practice is adhered to create a safe working environment 
+ Leading and engaging the Distribution Centre Team to deliver continued business performance and ensure the Distribution Centre can support future business growth.
+ Working alongside the Senior Operations team to create the strategic direction for the Distribution Centre translating this in to a working operational plan to create a "best in class" distribution operation.
+ Be a brand ambassador with all internal and external stakeholders 
+ Be able to act on own initiative and engage senior leadership team and key stakeholders in the value and logic of strategic and tactical business proposals

Distribution Centre Manager Ideal Candidate Specification: 

+ Strong management experience in a fast-paced distribution centre, eCommerce distribution experience is preferred
+ A nature leader with proven track record of engaging and motivating teams in a fast pace warehouse environment 
+ Self-motivated, independent and target driven 
+ Strong Commercial acumen Exceptional communication skills

Direct Reports: Assistant Distribution Centre Manager, Inventory Manager & Team Manager Trade.
