Service Operations Manager- Oil and Gas
Woking- with occasional offshore travel.
Based out of Woking but supporting a global function this new role will take ownership of the development, management and execution of a variety of global solutions to the Service Department. The product range is based around real time monitoring technology that is constantly evolving and used mainly in the subsea oil and gas sector.
As the company continue to grow this position will play a vital role in securing long term service agreements and aftermarket services managing a small but expanding team of engineers who work off shore at multiple locations. The main facility in Woking is the hub of the organisation where products are designed and manufactured on site giving you the chance to work with cross functional teams of engineers who are passionate about the development of the product.
Although the role is a site based strategic management position you may also at times get involved with customers on rigs to actually support and fix the product. Therefore it is important that you still have a hands on approach to engineering with a background of working in Service on technical products either with an electro-mechanical, electrical or mechanical bias.
For this role we are looking for:
- A proven Service Management background working with technical products on a global scale.
- Experience of working offshore on oil rigs is highly desirable.
- A strong cross functional technical background.
- The ability to lead and motivate a team of talented engineers.
- A strategic customer focussed approach to Service Engineering with the ability to establish long term relationships with a wide range of customers and suppliers.
