Operational Training Manager

Castle Employment are working with a leading food production business based in Leeming Bar who are keen to recruit an experienced Trainer to join their leadership team. The Training Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering operational training across the business ensuring training is dynamic and interactive.

The role of the Operational Training Manager will include:

• The development of interactive and dynamic inductions to all employees.
• Ensuring all staff are trained and competent in their areas of work.
• Assess and validate competencies in line with SOP's and job observations.
• Coordinate the annual training plan.
• Maintain all training files and develop the training database.
• Work with department managers to coordinate training activities.

The candidate:

You will be an experienced trainer who has worked within the food production sector and who is able to develop company wide operational training plans. You will has an engaging training style and have the ability to make your training interactive. You will understand the needs of a fast paced food production business and be able to work successfully with Operations Managers to understand the training needs of their teams and be able to deliver training specific to individual teams.
