Business Analyst - Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics

£40,000 to £52,000 plus generous benefits
Business Analyst for a highly respected international company in Cambridge who have launched a global supply chain programme as part of their ongoing IT enabled transformation. This mature but evolving organisation offers one of the best working environments in Cambridge and employs highly skilled professionals to deliver technical solutions for their global business. The Business Analyst is central to ensuring Supply Chain projects are well qualified, solutions are well designed, processes are effective and business benefits are realised. All in an environment that offers a wealth of interesting, diverse change.
You will be working closely with multiple Supply Chain, logistics and IT divisions, utilising your Business Analysis skill set to deliver high quality analysis and outputs, whilst also promoting best practice in Business Analysis and IT Service.
As Business Analyst you will:
* Analyse and document business functions, processes, information flows and data structures.
* Investigate issues, problems and opportunities. Finding effective and creative solutions.
* Document business requirements and report on recommendations. Create functional specifications and translate the functional specifications to technical specifications.
* Work closely with IT, PMO, the business and third party vendors.
As Business Analyst you will have:
* Commercial experience within Supply Chain Systems whether that be SAP SCM, SAP APO, Infor or any other similar system
* A passion for improving company performance by utilising IT intelligently.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong change management skills to ensure solutions delivered are fit for purpose and utilised.
If you have demonstrable experience as a BA within supply chain; working independently, gathering requirements, qualifying projects, designing technical solutions and to be processes.
