Logistics Operations Manager

Are you a beer lover looking for your next step in this ever-changing sector? MVP’s client is a well-established and fast-growing importer and distributor of specialist beers from around the world, supplying into pubs, restaurants and bars throughout London and the UK. Their London operations are growing at a rate of +20% annually and they are now looking for a motivated individual to join them as Logistics Operations Manager.

Managing a small team, you’ll plan, organize and manage all logistics activities at the London distribution centre, delivering excellent service to the business’s customers. From point of order through to delivery, you’ll manage all operations at the site, including financial control and driving Health & Safety excellence. Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will be supported in delivering operational strategy and transformation in an open, participative working environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in logistics operations within the drinks/beer sector and will be passionate about the sector. You’ll also need the following skills and experience:

• Ideally - some previous experience of managing or supervising people. You will be coached and mentored, but should be a natural leader, with the ability to motivate, influence and inspire others.
