This great organisation are on the hunt for a driven professional to join their finance team as a Purchasing Accounting Assistant.



Based in their funky, recently refurbished offices in the heart of the West End of London you will be joining a successful, energetic, and competitive team that is motivated to find the right balance between making money and helping people achieve their goals. How you can expect to spend your day:

  • To manage the efficient and effective Purchase to Pay process for the business
  • To ensure that purchases are made in accordance with budgets and maintain a schedule of staff entitled to approve expenditure.
  • To maintain The Group’s PO system and ensure that the process is applied where necessary.
  • To manage purchases made via credit cards and ensure that the purchases are authorised, properly documented and accounted for on a timely basis.
  • To manage the payments process – providing documentation and evidence to support the payments.
  • To always give great customer service.
  • To Support the Group Financial Controller and provide ad hoc analysis and investigations.
  • Expense Claim Policy – to keep up-to-date and ensure adherence
  • Purchase cycle administration, PO system maintenance, invoice processing.
  • Management of and service to suppliers.
  • Expense claim input, posting, payment and reporting
  • Data input to Access accounting system.
  • Various analysis and accounting reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
  • IT Accounting system support/interface with Access
  • Dimensions support desk
  • Report writing

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree or relevant experience as a finance assistant
  • Competitive personality that thrives in a target-driven environment
  • A methodical thinker

Salary + Performance based variable pay:

Dependent on experience

Active training program including access to company marketing training programs (with manager approval)
