An ever expanding leader within the drinks, food and hospitality sector has a new role for a Procurement Manager to manage the Beer / Cider categories.
The idea of this role is to be as commercial as possible in each area of spend managed, but also maintaining a high level of service delivery. The role will include the full mix of procurement roles and responsibilities, looking after a sole spend in the multi-million £s.
Role responsibilities:
- Support and work with the Head of Procurement on owning the Beer and Cider
- Manage and lead, full tenders, sourcing projects, re-negotiations and current spend analysis
- Analyse the market to advise internal stakeholders
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best cost and service for the business
- Implement SLA's into new and existing supplier contracts
- Suggest new supplier opportunities from current and past market knowledge
Experience & requirements:
- Previous procurement experience managing the Beer category
- Energetic, keen to work in a fast paced environment
- Confident in negotiating and managing all levels of stakeholder
- Able to analyse data and process it into advice / benefits for the business
- Results and target driven
- End to end procurement experience on a strategic level
- MCIPS or degree qualified
