REED in Newbury are working on behalf of a leading, modern and upcoming company to recruit for a Purchasing & Logistics Administrator on a permanent, full time basis. You should already have Purchasing and/or Logistics experience in administrative role and be looking to join a fun, vibrant team.
Duties will include:-
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturing partners, undertaking all required administration and ensuring compliance to relevant regulations.
- Monitoring stock levels and analysing reports to purchase components in line with Sales activity.
- Raising Purchase Orders through SAGE, confirming acknowledgements received, booking invoices and updating systems with delivery information.
- Expediting deliveries and international shipments from suppliers.
- Tracking open orders through to receipt into stock.
- Verifying invoice pricing is accurate upon receipt of goods.
- Expediting shortages and escalating as necessary.
- MRP duties including setting up new parts, transferring stock, assigning commodity codes etc.
My client is looking for someone that is pro-active with excellent communication skills to ensure Far-East suppliers understand requirements.
There is lots of progression available within the business as well as a fun, family orientated atmosphere.
Working hours are 08.45am - 17.30pm Monday to Friday, and salary is £20,000 - £23,000 depending upon experience as well as a £500 quarterly bonus based on personal performance (£2,000 annually).
