Operations Manager
Wiltshire/Bath area
Salary - up to £50k D.O.E.

The Role:
We're looking for a confident and experienced Operations Manager to join a friendly team and take full operational responsibility for the delivery of customer experience and the day-to-day running of the venue, this role will include direct line management.


Key Responsibilities:
·Managing HODs to deliver the business plan.
·Accountable for the annual budget and reporting of actual results against the business plan to the Board monthly, with focus on capital expenditure.
·Working with the Revenue Manager to set revenue targets and agreeing a strategy for delivery.
·Responsibility for workspace, space optimisation and innovation and the overall experience within the space.
·Working with the Business Centre Manager to deliver a seamless customer interface with reception and the business centre.
·Responsible for the delivery of conferences, hospitality and services, including the management of catering providers.


Key requirements
·Demonstrate a high level of commitment to standards always.
·Provide the highest level of customer service.
·Manage a range of routine tasks in addition to ad-hoc project work.
·Provide out of hours' emergency support along with other team managers.
·Manage staff in accordance with company HR policy.
·Drive yourself and the venue to achieve amazing results in the spirit of innovation.


Skills and Experience
·Essential you have experience working in a managed services environment.
·Experience of working in professional, customer facing environments.
·Experience in the hospitality sector is desirable but not essential.
·Experience of facilities management.
·Experience of project management.
·Good financial management & business skills.
·Good understanding of contracts and negotiations.
·Proven track record of leading service improvement, optimization and innovation.
·Strong administration skills with a working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
