Operations Manager- PM Shift 4pm- 12am
Your new company
You will be working for a leading distributor based near Birmingham
Your new role
You will be working as the Operations manager on the PM shift working from 4pm- 12am and will report directly into the General Manager for the site. You will be required to manage all warehouse functions and ensure that performance levels are accomplished within defined financial and operational objectives. You will be responsible for all staff on your shift including managing KPI's, training, absenteeism, recruitment, disciplinary, health & safety and all performance reviews. You will be expected to lead continuous improvement within the warehouse and ensure that the ISO standards are maintained. In addition to this, you will have to ensure that the Goods Distribution Practices (GDP) and the Medicines and Healthcare Product Regulatory Agency (MHRA) guidelines are adhered to.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a similar role will lead to your success and experience in a pharmaceutical environment would be advantageous. You will have prior knowledge of leading a warehouse and distribution environment and will have working knowledge of ISO and MHRA procedures. You will be familiar with GDP and have the ability to motivate and communicate with all involved in the operation.

In return you will receive a competitive salary of between £40,000- £45,000 along with a competitive benefits package.
