A Marketing/Social Networking company based in London requires a Procurement Specialist to join their growing team. In a newly created role you will be joining a dynamic and creative environment. Role Responsibilities -
-
Liaise with internal business stakeholders and suppliers to resolve procurement queries
- Respond to requests from Operations & Translations teams to procure/source suppliers not already in the vendor system
- Handle the execution of standard data privacy and rate card contracts with selected vendors
- Prioritise sourcing decisions to help internal teams meet their project delivery goals
- Maintain and update supplier rates and contact details in internal vendor management system
- Monitor and report internally on vendor performance levels
- Completion of new vendor forms and supporting documentation
- Evaluate the market to identify new vendors as appropriate
- Ad-hoc duties relating to all aspects of the procurement role
Candidate Requirements -
-
Degree level education is preferred
- Previous experience in procurement
- Experience working with vendors
- Strong microsoft office skills
- Proven track record of successful negotiations
- Previous industry experience would be beneficial however not essential
- Ambition to study CIPS or currently studying CIPS would be preferred
