Technical Operations Manager (ecommerce/Linux/AWS) - London, £70-120K
Innovative ecommerce organisation, with a track record of success and massive funding for growth over the next two years, has a new vacancy for a Technical Operations Manager / Platform Manager to take responsibility for the uptime, performance, stability and scalability of their platform.
Working in a startup environment (with the backing of serious funding), the Technical operations Manager / Platform Manager will be responsible for service monitoring, disaster recovery, continuous integration and release management in a fast-moving environment servicing millions of users.
This is a high-visibility, business-critical role for the organisation and as such the successful Technical Operations Manager / Platform Manager MUST HAVE:
- Experience of working in a large online environment, with millions of users/transactions
- Experience of managing a Linux environment - Ubuntu/Centos preferable
- Experience of managing in an AWS environment - EC2, RDS, SQS, Cloudwatch preferable
- Experience of managing MYSQL
- Experience of working in a PHP/Python environment - Desirable
- Experience of managing systems to perform high-volume email deliverability - Desirable
- Disaster recovery / Continuous integration / Release management experience
