EAC are currently representing a great opportunity within a Market Leader for an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to work Part-Time.

This is an excellent position based on the Business being flexible on when you work. They are seeking approximately 25 hours per week (however this can be slightly less or slightly more) which can be covered to suit you, such as 3 full days or 5 part-time days.

The Commercial Contracts Manager would sit within the existing Bid Team, however have the flexibility to enhance the Contracts function through knowledge, experience and ability.

Commercial Contracts Manager - Part Time

On Offer:

£22,500 - £27,500 Part-Time (Roughly based on 25 hours)
Full time Salary would reflect £35,000 - £40,000 based on experience
Flexible working hours (approx. 25 hours per week, however flexibility can be given)

Duties of a Commercial Contracts Manager:

  • Review and assess contracts
  • Develop and enhance the capabilities of the Contracts function
  • Ability to market scan the external environment relating to competitors and contracts
  • Assist in resolution of contractual disputes
  • Support Management in the evaluation of risks
  • Key stakeholder communication across functions and Management
  • Policies, procedures and reporting systems
  • Manage beneficiary process for Frameworks and Framework usage
  • On hand-support and advice relating to contracts
  • Develop own knowledge and skills in line with departmental, organisational, market and customer requirements


Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial / contracts management role
  • Strong Commercial Contract law, SLA and KPI knowledge
  • Ability to identify and interpret risk
  • Good understanding of sales, procurement, and supply chain functions
  • Comprehension of Government Frameworks
  • A team player, who is also able to work independently with limited direction
  • Analytical skills
  • Problem Solving ability
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Able to gain cooperation from varying functions and stakeholders internally
  • Commitment and high level of personal responsibility


Desirable but not a must

  • Experience within a Clinical Care or Healthcare setting
  • Experience in Microsoft Access
  • Public Sector tendering experience
