A large service provider based on the very outskirts of Warrington and Runcorn are looking for an experienced Purchase to Pay Associate (Accounts Payable) to join them on a fixed-term contract for 8 months.

Reporting to the Purchase to Pay Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Resolving a high volume of supplier queries in the accounts payable team
  • Liaising with suppliers to understand their query and invoice disputes fully
  • Liaising with internal staff and third party services to investigate queries
  • Reconciling high volumes of supplier statements and reviewing action plans
  • Working closely and collaborating with the payments team to schedule supplier payments
  • Maintaining purchase to pay compliance
  • Providing suppliers with an excellent service and swift query resolution outcomes


Experience and Skills Required:

  • Direct experience working in a query resolution and reconciliations role within accounts payable
  • Experience working with high volume transactions
  • Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Driven with a pro-active approach


As Purchase to Pay Associate you will be a key member of the Accounts Payable team and will be back filling an internal secondment for 8 months. You will gain great exposure working in a fast paced role and receive on the job support and training from an experienced team. You will work closely with operational teams and service provider and have a great sense of satisfaction when you resolve complex queries.

You will also work in a very modern, bright and open plan office environment. The company is easily accessible by car from South Warrington - Appleton, Grappenhall, Walton, Lower Whitley and Stretton. Also accessible from Widnes, Runcorn, Sutton Weaver, Preston Brook, Manor Park, Frodsham, Weaverham, Northwich, Ellesmere Port and Chester.
