Job Title: Factory & Inventory Planner
Location: Banbury
Salary: £30,000pa
Our client is a highly respected and well-known manufacturer in Banbury. They are now looking to acquire the services of a proficient and highly-communicative Planning & Inventory Manager. Reporting in to the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels both onsite and offsite and well as producing production / factory schedules. Main responsibilities:
- Working with the Manufacturing Manager to identify constraints within the factory.
- Delivery of the Master Production Schedule as well as daily / weekly production plans.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Reviewing Make to Order and Make to Stock SKU's and stock holdings to minimise working capital and optimise production opportunities.
- Planning required labour and agencies labour requirements.
- Working with the commercial function, play an active role in the identification of capacity restrictions and opportunities to ensure delivery of our promises to customers and stakeholders alike.
- Working with the commercial function regarding sales forecast analysis, queries and anomalies, aiding the increase of forecast accuracy.
- Working with the development function to include production trials and new product introduction in the Master Production Schedule and daily/weekly production plans.
- Organising international, outbound shipments via shipping partner.
- Reporting of KPI's.
- Building relationships across the business including Logistics, Production, Finance, Commercial, and Development.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous, recent experience within a similar role ideally, within the food industry.
- You should be highly analytical and flexible in your approach.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst staying calm and collected.
- Knowledgeable with food production processes.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Effective communication skills and strong team-player.
Additional Information:
