The Senior SAP Logistics SD Consultant Role:

Senior SAP Logistics SD (Sales & Distribution) consultant to join a team of experienced SAP Logistics consultants in a UK Managed Services team. You will be reporting to the Logistics Team Lead and responsible for delivering customer work across the Managed Services customer base, in SD and other relevant logistics areas. Work will be varied from adhoc configuration changes, to process improvement recommendations, to interesting mini projects. You will be a team player who enjoys supporting customers to achieve excellence and implementing best practice industry solutions. You will be an expert in your area, enjoy building trust and connections with customers, be able to make solution recommendations and enjoy collaborating with a team of highly skilled SAP Logistics consultants.

Required Essential Skills:

+ Excellent design, configuration and testing of core SD functionality
+ Deep functional / technical proficiency with at least 5 years’ experience in SD and 3+ full cycle SD implementation
+ Able to recommend process improvement options with confidence and expertise
+ Good cross-modular knowledge to understand end-to-end logistics processes and integration
+ Experience and knowledge of LE integration and TM generally, with a good understanding of supply chain business processes
+ Experience and 3 years+ in a second SAP logistics module:
- SAP IS Retail ERP highly desirable
- SAP IS Retail CAR highly desirable
- SAP IS Retail PMR highly desirable
- SAP C4C or Cloud Hybris highly desirable
- SAP EWM desirable
- CRM desirable
- Other Sales, Marketing, Trade or Transportation modules advantageous
+ Experience in SD S/4 Hana highly desirable
+ Experience working in a SAP support background

General Skills:

+ Excellent communications skills at all levels
+ User support, problem solving, logical thinking and analytical skills.
+ Documentation skills such as functional specifications, test scripts and end user training
+ End to end change management skills from requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing and implementation.
+ Willing to take on unknown SAP processes and learn new SAP functionality

Personal Skills:

+ Must be able to work independently, without supervision and can manage own workload
+ Able to multi task several pieces of work and follow change management processes
+ Enjoys working independently and as a team player
