JOB TITLE: SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER

CONTRACT:FIXED-TERM (Maternity cover - April 2020)

SALARY: £37,600 - £52,600

LOCATION: The Triangle, Cambridge

What it’s about

To enable us to meet the ever increasing demand for our services, we are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Operations Manager, who will thrive in this changing environment and is motivated by delivering excellent customer service.

What you’ll be doing

This role encompasses a range of tasks and responsibilities. Reporting to Head of Implementation, IELTS, you will:

  • Be the Operations lead for a number of high profile IELTS projects
  • Manage piloting of new systems and processes, including liaising closely with all key internal and external stakeholders, customers and strategic partners.
  • Lead on the delivery of high quality complex large-scale processes through work on specific procedures achieved through effective management of staff, liaison with stakeholders, meticulous planning, review and implementation of process improvements.
  • Manage business requirements gathering, analysis, signoff and implementation of the changes across multiple projects within agreed timescales
  • Lead on process revisions, system developments and product support activity as required
  • Provide high quality customer service, managing staff as required to ensure that the rigorous standards of the administration process are followed in the delivery of projects

What we’re looking for

The successful candidate should have experience of working in a busy office environment, experience of managing and motivating teams and working under pressure to demanding deadlines. Ideally you will also have experience of working on large projects and systems development. For further skills required please see essential and desirable criteria below.

  • Knowledge of IT issues relevant to business implementation
