A proactive and enthusiastic Stock Control / Purchasing Clerk is needed for a successful company in King’s Lynn on a part time basis (32 hours/week).

Joining a dynamic and growing organisation that distributes globally, this exciting opportunity would suit someone with strong PC / IT skills, good analytical and report writing capabilities and an organised nature.

Ideally you will have previous experience within Procurement and will be able to show an understanding of the impact stock accuracy has on the Supply Chain and cash flow of an organisation.

Key responsibilities as the Part Time Stock Control / Purchasing Clerk will include:

  • Maintaining accurate stock levels
  • Ensuring ERP system is in alignment with physical stock
  • Maintaining the ERP system
  • Performing routine cycle counts
  • Analysing, investigating and reporting stock discrepancies
  • Assisting the Sales team with queries
  • Working closely with the Warehouse team to help manage stock location
  • Producing reports
  • Key liaison between procurement, sales and warehouse teams
  • Carrying out Purchasing functions when needed
  • All associated administration

  • Previous experience in stock control / supply chain
  • Previous experience in a procurement role
  • Experience using an ERP system
  • Good IT skills
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to maintain working relationships
  • Good numerical skills
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Proactive nature
