Our client is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of subcontract metal fabrication services in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
To complement this we also offer site work both on and offshore.
Based in South Sheilds we are looking for a Metal Fabrications Estimator / Contracts Manager to join the team.
Salary £28k to £35k depending on experience.
Or the client may consider a Graduate Mechanical Engineer the salary for the Graduate would be circa £23k.
Metal Fabrications Estimator / Contracts Manager
Enthusiastic and hardworking Estimator/Contracts Manager required for a South Shields based metal fabrication company.
The successful candidate must have experience in producing quotations from engineering drawings and managing fabrication projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering and fabrication background with the ability to read and work to complex engineering drawings and must have previous experience in a subcontract manufacturing environment.
Key Duties
Producing technical quotations for sheet metal/structural steel fabrications in a clear, detailed and accurate manner.
Building relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their requirements
Managing all aspects of fabrication contracts/projects.
