Mandarin/Korean-speaking Supply Chain Executive - Food and Beverage

A well-known fast food / casual dining restaurant group is looking for a supply chain executive to join their purchasing team in their West London office. The roll will create the link between branches, support centres and suppliers with good communication and interpersonal skills essential for the role.

The ideal candidate will also need good problem solving skills with the capability to work under pressure.

LOCATION: West London

SALARY: up to £28K, depending on experience

TYPE: Permanent, full time

START: ASAP

CORE DUTIES

  • Liaising directly with branches and acting as the first contact person for shop queries
  • Set up and hold regular meetings with branches, ops and suppliers
  • Respond to suppliers by using the SLA and reporting back to the stakeholders
  • Keeping Branches informed with progress and resolutions
  • Support internal departments by managing suppliers’ quality issues
  • Ensure timely and consistent stock availability with all suppliers
  • Manage the supply base to identify any relevant potential risks
  • Identify improvements and implement efficiencies within the supply chain
  • Support the Buying team with any ad hoc information gathering and ordering
  • Work closely with CPU to identify supply chain efficiencies and support where possible

IDEAL APPLICANT

  • Totally fluent Mandarin or Korean with business level English
  • Good computer skills - Outlook/Excel / PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and good telephone email and face to face manner
  • Strong organisational skills, could perform and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Attention to the detail
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Able work under pressure
  • Dynamic self-motivated team player striving to deliver the best results
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ideally knowledge in supply chain and logistics
