Category Manager Sheffield £38,000-£45,000

You will be working for an Internationally recognised, industry leading organisation, with offices located in reach of the surrounding areas of South Yorkshire.

Your new role

Working within the Procurement Department, as the Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing the supplier database, improving efficiencies and ensuring the best possible terms. You will providing key internal stakeholders with direct reports and analysis of performance, suggesting and influencing ways to improve. You will be working across the business, cross functionally, to develop and bring new products to market, helping to boost awareness and profits.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be commercially driven and pro-active in your approach to the role. You will be a strong negotiator and have experience within end to end category management. Alongside a strong purchasing history, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be confident in reporting findings to senior stakeholders and be advanced with your IT skills.
