Head of Supply Chain & Manufacturing

Reporting into the Supply Chain Director, this role would suit a Senior Supply Chain Manager, Head of Supply Chain or General Manager with experience of managing end-to-end Supply Chain & Manufacturing operations within the FMCG & eCommerce sector.

THE ROLE:

• Management of the end-to-end Supply Chain for the business - including Resource Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Re-Work, International Supply Chain and Operational Projects.
• Responsibility for a team of 15-20 indirect reports and 3 managers (direct reports)
• Engagement, Coaching and Mentoring of your team.
• Use of Lean, CI thinking to maximise efficiencies and drive improvements.
• Q4 Peak Planning & Execution.
• Site expansion experience would be useful - as this business may well look to move sites in the medium to long-term.
• Systems implementation experience would be useful - as the business are looking to implement a new ERP systems into the business in the long-term.
• This role reports directly into the Board of this fast-growing business.

THE PERSON:

• Demonstrable subject matter expertise with a minimum of 5 years office experience (Supply Chain & Manufacturing).
• Operational forecasting, budgeting and planning.
• Financial acumen and detailed understanding of P&L.
• Able to implement scalable solutions within a high growth eCommerce business.
• Management experience in a growth environment (small business or SME).
• Optimised and integrated Supply Chain & Planning systems.
• Process redesign via Lean or Six Sigma techniques.
• Experience of leading change projects.
• Capacity to think outside the box and bring solutions to redesign and manage the supply chain for rapid growth.
• Analytical approach to problem solving, able to gather accurate and complete data.
• Front-foot & hands-on leadership style.
• Customer focused mentality.
• Able to liaise from shop-floor to Board level.
• Keen to leave a lasting impact and legacy on the wider business.
