Regional Operations Manager: An experienced, commercially aware Regional Operations Manager is required to take overall responsibility for the financial performance of all clinics within the South of England for one of the UK's leading Cosmetic Surgery Groups, established as a leader in the field of Cosmetic Surgery and Laser & Skin Treatments with clinics throughout the UK.

The ideal Regional Operations Manager will have proven, hands-on experience of driving multi-site profitability as an Area or Territory Retail Manager with full P+L responsibility. To succeed in this exciting management role previous demonstrable experience of playing a key strategic role in delivering significant top and bottom line growth across a region, alongside a passion for providing service excellence and improving quality are a must. Strong team management skills and an understanding and appreciation of the importance of implementing individual and team KPI’s are essential.

The successful candidate will work closely with Clinic Managers throughout the region to ensure a consistent, commercially driven approach is implemented efficiently across all clinics. Applicants located anywhere in the South East are ideal for this predominantly field based role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide effective leadership, development and performance management across the region.
  • To drive sales performance throughout the region ensuring that all region KPI targets are delivered and exceeded.
  • Instil a culture of continuous improvement to deliver local efficiencies and savings.
  • Control all P & L costs to deliver the regions EBITDA budget.
  • Closely monitor all KPI’s and take action as required to continually improve the regions and individual performance. Reports to Liaises (closely) with CEO The Exec team, all clinic colleagues, CSC Manager, Surgical Operations Director, Marketing team, Financial Controller, Surgeons, Doctors, Anaesthetists, external suppliers and regulatory bodies.

Job Description

  • Asses the regions sales funnel and address all weaknesses.
  • Train Clinic Managers to deal with complaints timely and effectively preventing repeat occurrences.
  • Recruit and develop a team of strong Clinic Managers focused on continual improvement with a winning mentality.
  • Work with Clinic Managers to identify and generate profitable revenue opportunities and to maximise treatment mix.
  • Optimise nurse, doctor and surgeon capacity by efficiently managing human resources; continually review the effectiveness of working patterns, opening hours, skills mix and demand.
  • Identify and deal with poor performance and all HR issues quickly and appropriately.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop campaigns and offers to drive sales and EBITDA.
  • In conjunction with the Clinical Services team ensure the clinics are compliant with all internal and external policies and regulations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Successful background in multi-site management ideally in healthcare.
  • Evidence of well-developed leadership skills.
  • Passion for service excellence and improving quality.
  • Proven financial acumen including full P+L responsibility.
  • Evidence of having driven significant top and bottom line growth.
  • Recruitment and management of HR issues.
  • Communication skills at all levels
