A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales/Operations Manager to join my clients head office in Rochester Kent.

My client has been a market leader in the office supplies industry for the last 20 years and has many accounts with major clients across the South-East.

They are looking to recruit a Sales/Operations Manager to help grow sales with new and existing customers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Inspiring an established sales team
  • Running the company in the absence of the owner
  • Dealing with suppliers and negotiating rates
  • Drive sales and identify leads
  • Account manage larger clients
  • Assist in any other depts when needed

We are looking for candidates who have a flair for sales and enjoying inspiring sales teams to hit KPI’s. You will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to work well in fast-paced and dynamic industry.

Other key skills needed are:

  • Account manager of high end accounts
  • Ability to identify training needs
  • Write and deliver training
  • Able to muck in and help in other depts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate with clients and suppliers
