You will be responsible for leading a team to ensure the delivery of high standards across the different programmes offered nationwide to children aged up to 14 years. As a leader, we are looking for someone who has the ability to inspire the people around them in order to align with their wider mission to inspire the children who experience the programmes. The quality of the programme delivery is absolutely essential so the ideal candidate is likely to be driven by adherence to regulatory frameworks and safeguarding legislation, in addition to driving continuous improvement and delivering engaging staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitate programme developments.
  • Monitor and assess the quality of delivery and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Liaison with all stakeholders to include host schools, parents, children and internal staff.
  • Ensure that the programmes operate within the regulatory framework, most importantly Ofsted and Health and Safety.
  • Organise the delivery of the on-site staff training programme.
  • Deliver relevant training events to both Head Office and on-site staff.
  • Support the recruitment team to attract, filter, assess and interview prospective candidates.
  • Assist in the performance management of staff.
  • Lead on staff inductions at the start of school holiday periods.
  • Implement quality control measures with a focus on assessing and improving the activity programme delivery to ensure the highest standards.
  • Ensure all training, resources and guidance are in line with regulatory and Ofsted requirements.
  • Attend and support during OFSTED inspections.
  • Oversee and implement child welfare procedures and policies on site, taking a lead role in ensuring excellent pastoral care.
  • Act as the Deputy Safeguarding Officer for the company, reporting any incidents through relevant channels, and advising staff where required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience managing a team is essential.
  • Significant experience working the education sector (with children) is essential - Ideally qualified teacher status in Primary or Secondary schools.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Responsible, trustworthy and approachable.
  • Working knowledge and experience dealing with OFSTED.
  • Ideally you will hold an educational or childcare qualification.
  • Experience in training or presentation delivery is highly desirable.

You must have a full, clean driving licence with car for this role.
