Supply Chain Coordinator

Reed Procurement and Supply Chain are currently working with a scientific organisation who through success and expansion are now looking for an individual to coordinate their supply chain function and be a point of contact for their external IT provider. Based in comfortable offices near to Cambridge this business has seen growth and launched new products into their marketplace.



They would like to meet with individuals who are currently working within a supply chain role who can help the business manage their material flow and planning processes. You will ideally have a couple of years experience in a supply chain role and be comfortable in a business where working with and helping out other business functions can be required.

This role is initially being offered as a 12 month contract and will provide the successful applicant with experience of all elements of their supply chain. As part of this role you will also be responsible for working with their external IT support and act as a contact point for any issues.

This role has no managerial responsibilities at this time.



Sales and order processing.
Stock management.
Working with suppliers
Supply or demand planning.
Procurement

A good level of IT, Maths and English.
Previous manufacturing supply chain experience.
Supply or demand planning experience.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organisational skills.
