Business Operations Manager

Based in Aylesbury, our fast growing international high technology client seeks a Business Operations Manager who can join the team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit a highly resilient individual who is a strong influencer, responsible for identifying and implementing business process changes.

The successful individual will have excellent leadership skills, able to influence and motivate people to achieve improvement goals. You will be results driven with the ability to work on your own initiative. You must have detailed experience of SAP, which supports the development of the system to a mature level as well as MS office to a high level.

Duties will include:

  • Develop and manage a business process and tool improvement plan
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel ensuring key milestone plans are in place and achieved on time
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to identify all customer data analysis and key performance indicator (KPI)requirements and develop a monthly timeline plan to ensure all KPI's are delivered in line with business requirements
  • Work with the Customer Service Manager and Senior CSR's to develop key customer dashboards
  • Analyse internal performance data in order to identify trends and highlight improvement actions required across functions to support customer satisfaction targets
  • Work with the team to develop a customer portal that has the required functionality to support the electronic placement of 90% of spares orders and provide customers with visibility on all key information (price, lead-time)
  • Manage the customer credit process through a daily meeting, working with the Finance team and Customer Service Manager to resolve any invoice query issues in a timely manner
  • Prepare business reports for use by the Customer Support Managers and Program Managers in customer meetings
  • Ensure standard work is in place and maintained for all business processes, including the compilation of business reports.
  • Develop a training matrix for all team members to deliver three deep cover on all activities and ensure training records are maintained
  • Manage a daily meeting, ensuring key KPI's are updated to track performance across the team and enable the identification of required actions
  • Develop an advanced standard exchange process to repair customers
  • Support and act as a mentor to all members of the GSC team in the implementation of improvement activitie
