Our client who are a leading company in sales, marketing and distribution of speciality chemicals and food ingredients are seeking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team based in Sutton, Surrey. This a full time role paying between £24-26k.
About the Role
- To focus on important supply chain processes including; samples distribution and stock management.
- To coordinate the complete process for samples distribution and procurement of samples stock; serving all related business units and market sectors.
- To review and process sample requests within the Salesforce CRM platform, working with a 3rd party service provider to ensure operational excellence within the samples supply chain.
- Work closely with a large range of key principals/suppliers to ensure an efficient procurement and stock management process for samples.
- To record, analyze and monitor monthly samples movements, providing management information, invoice/cost analysis and performance reports.
- To provide support to the stock management process across all UK & International stock locations - reviewing stock trends, disposal requirements and business needs.
- To develop knowledge and expertise around the Supply Chain; enabling opportunities to contribute towards key projects and improvement initiatives.
Candidate Background & Experience
- Interest in Supply chain and/or logistics
- Knowledge/experience of stock management
- Desirable - Distribution and/or sales experience
- Desirable - Customer service experience
