Are you an experienced Manager? Do you have experience of ensuring quality, whilst managing a team? Do you have experience of delivering against budgets and strategies?

A role has become available with one of the UK's fastest growing Providers of Skills Training. They are currently expanding their team and are looking for an Operations Manager to manage the delivery, strategy and budgets for the Adult Short Courses department. We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of Adult education funding.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, subcontractors and will work with external partners. You will have a wide range of responsibilities for the performance and development of internal services, operations, and will drive opportunities for innovation, development and growth of existing services.

You will work with the senior team to maximise the successful delivery of the Adult Education programmes and ongoing referrals to the Apprenticeship division. Overseeing and ensuring high standards of delivery in teaching and learning, ensuring that all Adult Education training programmes meet recognised national performance standards maintaining high levels of achievement, progression and retention. You will also be accountable for managing the internal delivery, support team and subcontractors, ensuring excellence about the quality, performance and cost effectiveness of the Team’s training delivery.

You will be a self-starter and be able to reach well informed and clear decisions. Excellent organisation, communication and administration skills.

Your current experience and responsibilities will incorporate:

• Record of outstanding leadership in a management role
• Successful and sustained record of developing systems and processes which have resulted in raising quality and improving teaching standards

In return you will receive:

• A starting salary £35,000 - £37,000 per annum
