Are you a specialist in imports and exports with expert knowledge of business trading practices across the globe? A brand new role has arisen within a leading provider to the oil and gas industry for an Import/ Export Tax Specialist to join their team based in Cheltenham! Salary £35-50k dependent on experience plus excellent benefits package and real scope to make this role your own! Working 8am-4.45pm Mon-Thu and 8am-12.30pm on Fridays!!
As Import/ Export Tax Specialist you will provide this FTSE 100 company with advice on the importing of goods as well tax advice associated with this. You will ensure that all shipments to their company as well as third party companies are compliant with all legal requirements for both UK and destination countries throughout the globe.
Your expert knowledge will enable you to ensure that all exports are fully compliant with HMRC requirements and the destination countries rules and regulations including all documentation required.
Ideally you will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent in imports and exports. Your knowledge of standards and regulations associated with imports and exports will be second to none, with a strong understanding of business trading practices and laws.
Freight forwarding experience will be required with the ability to deal with demanding situations providing solutions and advice to keep the company compliant. Excellent IT skills will be required for this role together with a professional manner to deal with all levels both internally and externally. Any experience within the oil and gas would be advantageous.
This role would suit: Import/ Export Tax Specialist, Customs Specialist, International Trade Specialist, International Tax Analyst, EMEA Customs Analyst, International Audit Officer, Logistics Specialist, Freight Forwarding Specialist, Global Shipping Specialist or similar.
