We are looking for a confident and motivated German Speaking Administrator to join our Head Office Export Team that sits within Buying Administration.  Supporting the team, you will be heavily involved in checking supplier and product details, managing contract deadlines, as well as gathering and analysing export related data.

This is an ideal role for a positive, pro-active team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will relish working under pressure.

What will you do?

  • Preparing and updating product and price related information
  • Assisting the Export Management team
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Liaising with other Lidl countries
  • Contract maintenance
  • Managing departmental documents and filing system
  • Analysing large spreadsheets of product related data
  • Acting as the first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries
  • Providing general administrative support and ad hoc administration duties

What will you need?

  • Excellent command of the English and German language
  • Well-organised with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A high degree of adaptability
  • A confident approach with excellent communication skills
  • The ability and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pro-active, approaching problems logically and calmly
  • Highly computer literate
  • Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn

  • £20,300 - £26,390 per annum (subject to experience)
  • An additional 10% of your annual salary as a non-contractual London Weighting benefit
