Our Client
A fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or a Supply Chain/Commercial Assistant to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding Waste Management and Recycling Services Supplier.
Purpose and Responsibilities
Our client is currently looking for a Supply Chain/Commercial Assistant to join their commercial department based in Hampshire. As Supply Chain/Commercial Assistant you will be primarily responsible for working closely with the sales department to develop price proposals, quotations and tenders for both new and existing clients.
The Supply Chain/Commercial Assistant will develop a strong understanding of the waste management and recycling services market in order to gather accurate information that other departments can rely on to carry out their own functions. In order to maintain a smooth running of services and value for money the Supply Chain/Commercial Assistant will be the key point of contact for both new and existing suppliers assisting in account management, customer services and confirming suppliers for new contracts.

- Able to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
- General business and commercial acumen
- Ability to understand the implications of ongoing change within the industry
- Formulate new ideas, find solutions and promote efficiencies in administrative tasks
- Effectively communicate all commercial requirements to other affected parts of the business
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Commercial/Supply Chain Experience (Commercial Executive, Pricing Analyst, Customer Service, Account Manager) – Essential
- Field Related Degree - Advantageous
- Waste Management, Facilities Management OR Soft Services Industry Experience - Advantageous
