First Choice Staff is working with one of the UK’s most successful leading multimodal Forwarders and logistics supply chain organisations; due to internal structure we are
currently seeking to recruit an Air & Road Freight Coordinator to join their busy operations, on a temp to perm basis, West Yorkshire based and with great overall package in return.

Who are we looking for?
Proven track record in Freight or Manufacturing or Shipping or Logistics (1-3 years minimum)
Operations -Exports/AIR & ROAD shipments
Able to work independently and within a small team
High level of accuracy and time management skills
Outgoing confident personality and someone who is pro-active, can problem solve and can react to a changing work environment to meet requirements.
Job role/duties and not limited to…
Booking air/road freight shipments and all associated paperwork, system input and adhering to company and industry regulations including Dangerous Goods - necessary training provided
Daily review and update of supplementary air export work including post flights, dealing with airlines, emails and liaising with other Freight offices in both the UK and over seas
Calculating and issuing quotes. Customs entries to HMRC. Customer service internal/external - telephone and email. Dealing with queries, disputes and general customer enquiries
Liaising with Transport Dept and drivers. Invoicing and working within Company KPIs requirements
Additional Info..
37.5hrs per week Mon-Fri generally 9-5pm however could be a requirement for 10-6pm shift.
20 days holiday increasing to 25days (1 day per year worked).
Salary Band: £18,000-£20,000
