SF Group are recruiting for a Supply Chain Controller who has experience within the Automotive Industry. This is working for a company located in Derbyshire and is a permanent vacancy.
The role reports directly in to the Supply Chain Manager.
What will you be doing?
- Maintain the supply chains
- Order calculation & stock management
- Coordinate trading (import/export) and logistics
- Communicate with the customer/supplier
- Manage sales & costs
- Get quotations from suppliers
- Negotiate with the customer/supplier
- Set up customer/supplier registration
- Register goods info on the system
- Get Purchasing Order from customers
- Issue Purchasing Orders to suppliers
- Arrange import/export including custom clearance and inland logistics
- Communicate customer about delivery
- React irregular situation (delivery issue, quality issue, stock loss at customer, request for urgent shipment)
- Issue invoice to customer
- Park invoice from supplier
- Control stock including periodical stock check
- Improve business process & cost (Kaizen)
Ideally you will have 2 years experience as a minimum in Supply Chain.
Permanent role paying £25,000 per annum
