Procurement Officer

An exceptional opportunity has arisen with a leading business, based in Central London. Working as an integral part of the procurement team, my client is looking for an exceptional procurement officer to provide high quality procurement guidance and advice to internal stakeholders.

The Role:

You will be responsible for providing support to stakeholders, ensuring all goods and services are procured in line with the guidelines as well as cost and quality standards. You will also manage and maintain organisational procurement records and develop effective analytical tools to track spend and supplier performance.

About You:

We're looking for an outstanding candidate with experience working in procurement in either the public or private sector, with at least 1 year’s experience demonstrating a clear understanding of procurement principles.

You will have a demonstrable track record of supporting stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, guiding them through the procurement process.

You will also have previous knowledge and experience of strategic sourcing principles as well as operational experience of e-procurement systems. An understanding of financial and accounting principal would be beneficial but not essential.

The Offer:

Negotiable starting salary from £32,000 - £36,000
