A market leading tier one automotive supplier is currently recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to join their operation in Birmingham. Paying up to £27.5k.
Key Responsibilities of Logistics Coordinator:
- Control the customer order intake in accordance with capacity and issue order acknowledgements and purchase orders
- Ordering packaging materials
- Analyse ERP reports producing production MPS and MRP schedules
- Monitor all stocks in accordance with the company stocking policy
- Minimise obsolete and redundant stocks and ensure stock accuracy of all parts
- Maintain customer/ supplier forecasts on the ERP system
- To liaise with customers / suppliers regarding supply issues, delivery performance and general complaints and manage the return of goods as appropriate
- To maintain all customer / supplier supply chain systems
- To monitor the production schedule adherence and supplier delivery performance and attend daily production meetings and monthly supplier reviews providing all relevant information
- Control and monitor ERP static date to ensure that the information held on the system is correct.
The Successful Candidate will Have the Following:
- Knowledge of automotive industry
- Manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of supply chain functions
- Knowledge of pressed parts & assembly work
- Customer and supplier liaison experience
- Excellent analytical skills
- Comprehensive IT skills
