The Role:

Working alongside the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for category management across a wide variety of different areas of spend, where every day will be different and every category will require a new approach and fresh ideas to deliver the cost savings, quality and value that our client are looking for.

You will work alongside both the procurement team and senior management to represent the organisation to the highest possible standard.

About You:

It goes without saying that you will have extensive experience as a category manager, having previously worked to lead and manage a broad category of spend as well as work with a variety of stakeholders and portfolios. You will also need to have a good working knowledge of procurement law.


We're looking for someone with good inter-personal skills, the ability to build positive relationships and be able to lead project teams.

We're ideally looking for someone with CIPS level 6 and that is educated to degree level in a business subject that said, if you've got extensive work experience, we'd still love to hear from you.

This opportunity will suit someone who's worked at a senior level before and is now looking for a slightly more relaxed working environment with less pressure. What you've procured previously isn't make or break.
