This prestigious organisation has an excellent procurement infrastructure, following recent investment and a large-scale restructure. As a result, you will be responsible for a multi-million pound spend with full autonomy. The firm have an unrivaled reputation for training and investing in talent, with a clearly defined path to promotion that is tailored to you.

Their new procurement specialist will:

• Lead strategic sourcing projects across various raw materials
• Manage supplier relations to optimise efficiency and supplier performance
• Negotiate with suppliers to leverage long term cost savings
• Owning the end-to-end procurement process and lead sourcing strategies
• Work closely with stakeholders to win over support for further reaching procurement projects

Desirable skills and attributes:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• An analytical and problem-solving approach to procurement
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
• A proven track record of progression and tangible achievements within your procurement career
• Degree / MCIPS qualification preferred but not essential
