Buyer - Education

An exciting opportunity for a Buyer who has experience buying educational material for primary or secondary schools has become available due to expansion within the procurement department.

Salary up to £28,000

Main Duties

• Assisting with the purchase of primary & secondary school material
• Management of stock levels to ensure supply is not interrupted
• Liaise with wholesalers, publishers and customers as required
• Market research to be aware of any new material and present to colleagues
• Assist with any urgent order requests
• Carry out bibliographic work on primary, secondary and educational material

What you will need:

• It is essential that you have previous experience purchasing primary or secondary educational material, along with experience of negotiating prices.
• Excellent communication skills are also key for this role.
• Full driving license as some travel may be required
