Logistics Planner, Tamworth, up to £22,000 per annum

Our fun and exceeding client based in Tamworth are currently looking for a Logistics Planner to join their friendly team. Your main duties will include:

• Understand the trend of freight costs.
• Communicate with logistics providers to stay informed of the market changes.
• Liaise with logistics providers for the best possible rates for air, land and sea shipments from a portfolio of suppliers.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues e.g. shipping routes, delayed items and rush orders.
• Reconcile and verify receiving documents including Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading and etc.

The successful candidate will be extremely personable and be confident over the phone and face to face as communication in this role is key. You will be organised and have previous experience within a similar role.

Working hours Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
