We are really excited to be working with a valued client in the Birmingham area, who are looking for an experienced professional to join their team and provide Administrative Sales Support within the Export Industry.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage customer contact via all communication channels including customer account management
  • Order processing and pricing
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Ensuring all Export documentation is correctly completed
  • Looking after all transportation quotes/queries from start to finish including non-standard deliveries
  • Managing customer debits/credits and inventories by providing technical support
  • Point of contact for customer queries relating to quotations, discounts and pricing
  • Communication involving product manufacture, when a product is not in stock
  • Other ad hoc duties that are required by the company

Key Experience needed:

  • The ability to create Export Shipping Documents is essential
  • Previous experience of Export Administration is essential, including Export Documentation and knowledge of Freight Forwarders
  • Good level of English and Maths
  • Computer literacy/word-processing expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good commercial understanding
  • Ability to work alone, prioritise workload, self-motivated, excellent communication skills
  • Not essential but French/German/Spanish/Italian language skills would be advantageous
