PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT - £60- 65K + EXCELLENT PACKAGE - LEADING FTSE 100 CONSULTANCY

One of the UK's leading professional services firms are looking to expand their consultancy team by bringing on a procurement professional to work across a number of their key blue chip clients in a variety of interesting industries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be keen to expand their skillset in a best in practice procurement team.

This procurement role will involve

• Working across indirect procurement categories such as HR, Marketing, FM and IT
• Managing relationships to consolidate suppliers
• Monitoring supplier performance and implementing procurement best practice
• Leading sourcing initiatives
• Negotiating contracts and agreements
• Liaising with key stakeholders

The following procurement skills are necessary

• In depth procurement knowledge of spend categories such as IT, Facilities and professional services
• Strong negotiation skills
• An understanding of the full procurement life cycle across strategic sourcing, supplier relations and contract negotiations
• Excellent communication skills
• A strong educational background.
• 100% flexibility on UK wide travel
