A prestigious events client is looking for someone to assist the Logistics Supervisor as follows:
Assist the Supervisor to effectively operate all aspects of logistics, event build-up and breakdown within guidelines of the company and current legislation; with liaison of the Event Management and Facility Management teams.
Primary Duties:
- Report punctually for duty with a clean and tidy appearance, dressed according to the company requirements and abide by all regulations in the Company Handbook
- Assist in organising furniture and set facilities to the standard operating procedures
- Clear down facilities following event completion and ensure venue is show ready
- Respond to the pace of the business in terms of speed of work and productivity
- Deal with customer comments in a positive manner and take appropriate follow up action
- Report all maintenance issues and hazards to the Helpdesk immediately
- Assist the Facilities Team with ad hoc handyman-type tasks as required
- Work cohesively with Teams and Supply Partners to assist in delivering company requirements
Secondary Duties:
- Proactively promote a safe working environment and identify show safety and security risks
- Understanding of a CDM site as required for role
- Proactively feed back and raise issues to Logistics Supervisor and Group H&S Manager

- Customer-focused and strive to exceed customer expectations
- Self motivated with passion for quality and great service delivery
- Able to understand technical design plans such as furniture layouts
- Full driving license
- Fork lift truck license (preferable)
- IOSH Managing Safely (preferable)
- Event/exhibition operational background (preferable)
