An Interim Procurement Operations Specialist at £350-400p/d is required for a global FTSE100 Energy and Oil & Gas Supermajor based in Greater London. A 6 month contract, likely to extend, this is an exciting opportunity within operational procurement support of strategic procurement projects for a candidate with a strong background in procurement coordination and delivery who is looking to develop their experience within a global, diverse and fast-paced function.

Role:

  • Operational procurement support for strategic initiatives and projects - ability to take on smaller/defined tasks from start to finish without major oversight requirements
  • Coordination and management of resources
  • First run analysis and contract read-through
  • The development of sourcing strategies in alignment with applicable market sector / commodity strategies and specific business objectives (both local and global)
  • Understands business requirements for third party goods and services
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of relevant supply market places
  • Engaging the business and provide guidance on process and risk management

Required Skills:

  • Min. 3 years of operational procurement experience
  • Experience with Ariba OneSource for sourcing and contracting
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • MS Office expertise
