European Road Freight Operator

We have been instructed to recruit an European Road Freight Operator to join our client in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading independent transport company that pride themselves on providing first class European Road Haulage and International Freight services to their clients.

Within the role you will be responsible for receiving, quoting and securing shipments from customers. You will also be responsible for sub-contracting work to approved hauliers to reach expected profit and load targets. You may also be asked to carry out additional tasks within your capability, in order to meet the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year’s recent, relevant experience gained from within transport and/or freight forwarding, and European language skills however not a necessary. However candidates with a keen interest in building a successful career within the industry who have a strong customer service background along with European language skills also will be considered. Full training will be provided to those with limited experience.
