Export Account Manager

The Role

  • Parking On-site
  • Location Willenhall
  • Salary £20,000 - £23,000

  • Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 Friday 08:30 14:00

Main Task: To support the export customer base, managing, developing and maximising accounts, delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing end to end sales activities, nurturing and developing account relationships and new business opportunities
  • Processing orders, providing customer with quotations, including freight costings
  • Office based point of contact
  • You will ensure all queries are accurately
  • Raise shipping, banking and credit documentation
  • Negotiation of freight costs
  • You will pro-actively contact customers for clarifications that will help resolve their query
  • You will work with your internal network to ensure you are able to provide your customer with an appropriate response within the agreed SLAs.
  • You will make proactive customer calls to elicit feedback on our service performance
  • You will proactively support change in processes / procedures to provide a better customer experience / greater efficiency's

What You'll need

  • Experience in Account Management and Sales Support
  • Must have experience in Export
  • Have excellent communication and customer care skill
  • Please note experience within either the manufacturing or shipping industry is essential.
  • Have the ability to manage issues from enquiry to resolution
  • Proven ability to be able to negotiate
  • Have experience working in a business to business customer service role
  • Ability to answer customer queries and promote/sell products and process orders.
  • You will also need to be bright, efficient with a can-do attitude and the ability to think on your feet to solve problems arising.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge/understanding of print processes would also be desirable although training will be provided.
